Loyens & Loeff advised Aventicum Capital Management (Switzerland) Ltd. on the acquisition of residential portfolio for a total consideration of EUR 100 million from Bouwinvest Dutch Institutional Residential Fund. The portfolio consist of 723 residences. 54% of the portfolio concerns social housing.

Aventicum Capital is a fund incorporated in 2012 by Credit Suisse and Qatar Holding. This is Aventicum’s first venture onto the Dutch residential real estate market.

Bouwinvest’s director Allard van Spaandonk has stated that the changes on the rental market and good prospects have increased investors’ interests for Dutch residences. This is an incredible opportunity to reuse capital and to rearrange our portfolio.
